It's the eve of "The Hallows End" and to kick off the celebration People are running around in masks and costumes, children are going door to door collecting treats and money, Ghastly looking lanterns hang from the light polls lining the avenues. The entire town is preparing for the evening's "Dark Parade" to celebrate the spirits of those who have passed on. A young man leaves a bouquet of black roses at a lone grave outside of town and begins to walk away.
Walking and admiring the eerie glow of the moon lit twilight sky the boy decides to stray from a path and cut through a dark forest, seemingly unaware that he's being followed. "Night will fall and drown the sun where children dare not stay. Those that get lost in the woods invite the grimm to play" He sings to himself until he hears some leaves rustling nearby. He turns his head and looks into the fiery red eyes of a fully grown beowolf. Well well well... Here to play? he says just before the beast lunges straight towards him. The Grimm's head meets the skull on the boy's staff and lands on the floor with a stiff "THUD" before scrambling to it's feet and snarling at the young man. The boy points his staff at the snarling Beowolf and smirks CRACKOW!! He yells as a glyph forms at the mouth of the skull, shooting a bolt of lightning and striking the beast down. He looks at his wrist watch to check the time and walks over to the stunned beast. "I wish i could stay and play some more... but i'm late. he says. He swings the staff and reveals serrated blade, turning the staff into a scythe and grinning at the Grimm he slices its head off. Now play dead... good boy he says before kicking the grimm's head out of his way and proceeding to head back into town.
