A. Every category of the character template
provided is mandatory for character creation.
- The only exception to this is the "Other" category.
B. Representations shall not be more recent than the year 1960 in origin. They shall also be directly connected to a story, be it mythological, legendary, literature, folk tales, fairy tales, and, if appropriate, songs.

Monty's Rule shall be used for naming your characters.
D. Members are limited to a maximum of seven original characters, and may claim up to three canonical characters.
E. Characters shall be written consistently with their profiles.
F. Character profiles may have images as a visual aid.
- Images shall be kept within spoiler tags.
- Images shall not be the primary means of conveying a character's appearance.
G.
Mary Sues shall not be created in any manner.
H. While a representation is mandatory, creativity is also fostered and encouraged, and so blatant expy's of characters from other media shall not be submitted.
I. After a character is accepted, the member shall create a link to the profile in a topic within
this subforum.
J. If a character dies, there is no resurrection. Profiles for deceased original characters shall remain listed in the appropriate "Who's Whose" thread.
K. Characters must receive at least one recommendation before a final approval can be given. Further details are listed
here.
L. Only the profile creator, QARs, Moderators, and Administrators are allowed to post within a profile thread.
M. Romantic and familial relationships between characters are allowed so long as all players involved agree to the circumstances.
- Romantic relationships shall be believably developed, though pre-established relationships may be set up between characters.
N. The only faunus types allowed are mammalian. There shall be no avian, amphibious, marsupial, nor reptilian faunus.
O. No WiP (Work in Progress) profiles are to be submitted. They clutter up the forum and draw attention away from finished profiles that require review and/or recommendation or approval.
- IIA; Canon Characters:
a. Canon characters shall be written in accordance with their depictions in the show.
- Writing canon characters out of character will result in the privilege of writing that character being revoked.
- Development of canon characters is both allowed and encouraged, so long as it is properly handled and believably written.
b. In order to play as a canon character, a member shall "audition" with a scene written in
this thread to be judged by the staff. Acceptance or denial is at forum staff discretion.
c. Canon characters are not immortal, and if killed, will be listed as deceased in the
Canon Roles list.
d. Familial relationships with canon characters are not allowed.
e. Platonic/friendly and romantic relationships between original and canon characters are allowed, but romances shall not be held between original and canon characters controlled by the same player. Relationships of any kind with canon characters shall be believably developed.
- ex; If Jon controls Amarill and Yang, Amarill and Yang may not have a romantic relationship. However, they may be friends.
